Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which Ginger and James (“we”, “us”, “our”) supplies goods to you, the customer (“you”, “your”), through our website www.gingerandjames.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General Information

1.1 We are Ginger and James, a fine jewellery design studio based in the United Kingdom.
1.2 All items are sold subject to availability.
1.3 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

2. Products

2.1 Our collections include:

Ready-to-Wear Jewellery: Pre-designed pieces available for immediate purchase.
Made-to-Order Wedding Rings: Crafted to your specified size and chosen options (such as metal or finish).
Bespoke Jewellery: Custom-made pieces created to your unique specifications.

2.2 Images and descriptions of products on our website are for illustrative purposes. As jewellery is handcrafted, slight variations may occur.

3. Orders and Payment

3.1 An order is confirmed once payment has been received in full.
3.2 All prices are listed in GBP (£). As Ginger and James is not VAT registered, VAT is not charged on purchases.
3.3 We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout.

4. Delivery

4.1 We aim to dispatch Ready-to-Wear jewellery within the timeframes stated on our website.
4.2 Delivery times for Made-to-Order Wedding Rings and Bespoke Jewellery will be confirmed at the point of order.
4.3 Delivery costs will be shown at checkout.
4.4 We are not responsible for delays outside of our control (e.g., courier delays or customs checks).

5. Returns and Refunds

Ready-to-Wear Jewellery

5.1 You have the right to return Ready-to-Wear jewellery within 14 days of receiving your order in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
5.2 Returned items must be:

Unworn, unused, and in their original condition.
Returned in their original packaging with proof of purchase.
5.3 Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item. Delivery charges are non-refundable.

Made-to-Order Wedding Rings

5.4 As Made-to-Order Wedding Rings are produced to your specific size and chosen options, they are treated as personalised goods. This means they are non-returnable and non-refundable unless faulty.
5.5 Please ensure your finger size and chosen specifications are correct before placing an order.

Bespoke Jewellery

5.6 Due to their personalised nature, Bespoke jewellery is non-refundable and non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty.

6. Faulty or Damaged Goods

6.1 If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
6.2 We will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All designs, images, and content on our website are the intellectual property of Ginger and James and must not be reproduced without permission.

8. Liability

8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
