Ginger & James engagement rings are cast using 100% recycled precious metals through my trusted UK casting partner, alongside a choice of natural or laboratory-grown diamonds and carefully sourced coloured gemstones.

Creating a bespoke engagement ring should feel exciting, not overwhelming. I'll guide you through every stage, from your initial ideas and gemstone selection to hand sketches, detailed CAD models and realistic 3D renders. You'll see your ring take shape before it's made, giving you the opportunity to refine every detail and feel confident in your final design.

Every ring starts with a conversation. Bring your ideas, inspiration or simply a starting point, and we'll talk through your partner's style, your budget and what you're hoping to create. Whether you know exactly what you want or need some guidance, we'll find the right direction together.

This is where your ideas begin to take shape. You can be as involved as you'd like, from sharing your own design ideas to exploring different possibilities together. We'll select your gemstone and precious metal, with natural and lab-grown diamonds, colourful gemstones and 100% recycled precious metals available.
See your ring before it's made. Your design is brought to life through detailed 3D CAD and realistic renders, allowing you to explore the proportions and details together. We can refine the design until you're completely happy before anything goes into production.
Once your design is approved, it's time to bring it to life. Your ring is crafted using a combination of traditional jewellery-making skills and modern techniques, with every detail carefully finished and checked to ensure it is ready to be treasured for years to come.
Then comes the exciting part — seeing your finished ring. After final quality checks, your ring is beautifully presented and ready for the moment you've been waiting for. Your bespoke design is also recorded in the Ginger & James Design Archive and given its own unique design number.
